Boyne Thunder Poker Run Sponsor-Registration To Open December 9
Heading into its 23rd year, the Boyne Thunder Poker Run remains limited to 120 entries. That fact plus the popularity of the Northern Michigan affair, which includes a Thursday lunch backed by Unriehl Performance, the traditional American Custom Marine/Nor-Tech backed welcome party at Boyne Mountain Resort and a Friday night street-celebration in downtown Boyne City, makes the Boyne Thunder event—set for July 10-11 this year, the hottest ticket of any given go-fast boating season.

The best shot for would be participants is to sign up as a sponsor. Registration for Boyne Thunder backers of opens Tuesday, December 9 at 8 a.m. Sponsorship opportunities at multiple levels will once again be offered. Packages range from $3,500 to $20,000.
Spots for Boyne Thunder participants are divided evenly between general registration and their higher-cost sponsorship counterparts. Proceeds from the event benefit the local Challenge Mountain and Camp Quality-Michigan programs for children.
General registration for the Boyne Thunder Poker Run was sold out in an event-record-setting two minutes. Sponsor registration, on the other hand, took 10 business days.
“We are truly humbled by the enthusiasm for our event,” said Ingrid Day, Boyne Thunder’s events coordinator, following last year’s rapid sell-outs. “I wish we had space for everyone.”
