DCB Strong By The Numbers

Just seven years ago at the Lake of the Ozark Shootout in Central Missouri, DCB Performance Marine showed off its first 37R catamaran. Now working out of its second home in Phoenix, the company just began laying up the 35th hull for the outboard engine-powered 37-footer. It was powered by then-new Mercury Racing 450R outboard engines.

And M37R No. 36 is in the mold.

DCB Performance Marine is on a roll with its last four new-model introductions.

DCB M37R catamaran No. 35 is the property of Byron and Christi Storms.

Now twin 500R outboards are the power package of choice for the catamaran, which quickly became best-selling new model in the 35-year history of the vaunted brand.

Tony Chiaramonte delivered the most recently completed 37R to Southern California-based clients Byron and Christi Storms last week. That sparked questions about newer releases, starting with the 2024-unveiled 42R.

So far, DCB has produced four of those 42-foot beauties. And two more are in production.

The company is already starting on its second 35R catamaran, which was unveiled this year. Four more 35-footers have been ordered to date.
