Deep Impact Adds Transportation Services On The Heels Of Factory-Direct Sales And More
To say Deep Impact Custom Boats is ending 2025 with a flurry of positive activity is an understatement. During the late-October Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show alone, the South Florida offshore center-console builder released the 449—the first center console in its class that can handle up to the six Mercury Racing 500R outboard engines—and announced it was taking all sales factory-direct. And just one year ago during the Fort Lauderdale affair, Deep Impact unveiled the 499, the larger center console in its line-up.

Now Deep Impact is adding powerboat transportation to its list of services. The company’s transportation branch will be spearheaded by John Wittenberger. The second recent hire by the company—the first was factory-direct sales manager Mike Vilardi—in less than four weeks, Wittenberger also will manage and direct the company’s warranty program.
The owner of the company, Mark Fischer believes the brand is entering a new era.
“Our new in-house team is second to none for service and transport,” he said. “Our factory sales team is now in place to make building your new boat a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
“We’re excited for 2026, especially with our new 449 and 499 models,” he continued. “The new boats are incredible—they are built to run offshore and their rough-water ride is beyond anything I have experienced in my lifetime of boating. Plus, thanks to our new technology, tooling and our build-team’s dedication to craftsmanship their fit and finish is incredible.”
Fischer paused, then chuckled.
“We want everyone to take the ‘Deep Impact Challenge,’” he added. “Come set up a sea trial, experience the ride and performance and then compare it to that of your current center console or any center console you’ve may have experienced. We think you’ll be blown away.”
