“Usually 10 to 15 show up on Saturday just to do the toy-drop with us,” McCormick said. “But they’re not part of the event. They just drop in for that part of it.

“We are at something like 370 people registered this year,” he added, then chuckled. “It will be busy, but manageable. When all is said and done, it will be a good time for a great cause.”

The fun starts Friday with a casual lunch run from Dunns Creek to Crescent Lake. Hosted at Crystal Cove Marina, a welcome party is set for that evening. The main event—including toy deliver to at Bryant’s Warf Park-Welaka Dock—begins Saturday morning.

Both runs will be preceded by mandatory meetings for all drivers.

Additional highlights for the day will include the traditional post-lunch raft-up at Silver Glen Springs and the Toys Tour Banquet presented by Velocity Powerboats.
