Sneak Peek—Stephen Miles Design Painting 32 GSX Center Console
Displayed at the Miami International Boat Show a few years back, the first GSX/Glasstream 36 center console was a looker. Take nothing away from 36-footer’s svelte and sexy lines, but the paintjob envisioned by Stephen Miles of Kentucky-based Stephen Miles Design tied together the entire package. The results were borderline hypnotic—the boat was plain hard to look away from.

Though Stephen Miles has designed graphics for GSX models, the 32-footer is the first one he’s painted.
Miles and his crew did not, however, apply the graphics package. That task went to powerboat painter Paul Boyden, and he did a fine job with it. In fact, until recently Miles had not painted a GSX offering.
Now’s he’s in the process of completing his first, a 32-footer purchased factory-direct from the boat-builder by its privacy-loving client.
Miles expects to complete the job in two weeks. He’s appreciated working with Ervin and he’s been enjoying the paint application work for GSW 32.
A work in progress—at least for the next two weeks.
“We’ve designed a few paintjobs for GSX,” he said. “But this is the first one I’ve put my hands on, and it’s been a lot of fun. “
