CTS Goes Big With Super Cat Fest West Auction Item

Super Cat Fest West in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., blew minds last year when it raised more than $300,000 for local children’s charities. Not the least of that gray matter belongs to Dave Johnson, who lives in the area and co-produces the event with Missouri’s Alvin Heathman. Johnson was hoping the auction would raise “a couple of hundred thousand dollars.”

No one was more gob-smacked—and delighted—than the RiverDavesPlace founder when the auction hauled in $100,000 more than he anticipated.

Headquartered at Havasu Riviera Marina, Super Cat Fest West returns next month, as does its Saturday night auction at Horizon Motorsports. And the fundraising effort has an excellent chance of eclipsing last year’s total.
